  1. Hey Philly Fixed, watched your review. Thanks. Just wondering why you like the 12v Extreme better than the 20V atomic. Wasn't the Atomic faster at everything? I'm a new DIY'er just buying tools and I'm so confused.

  2. I bought into 20v XR tools, but was thinking Atomic. Doing research I will do 12v for certain tools, instead of Atomic. Some 20v tools I switched to using power stack to save weight or clearance issues.

  3. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐenjoy both the impact MyBest.Tools and regular drill which come together in this package.Secondly,๐Ÿ’ค the batteries are phenomenal and quick charging. I feel this is a great buy.

  4. Damn you DeWalt. You have so many models and lines I bought a 12v Extreme Kit on accident instead of the Atomic.

  5. Atomic Speedโ€ฆโ€ฆXtreme Power ๐Ÿคฏ

  6. I have both of those. The 20v Atomic DCF 809 is more powerful. You will notice it on the larger task stuff. I use the 12 volt more though especially on the smaller delicate stuff. I like the both.

  7. Yes! I've waited so long for someone to do this! You need the 5ah 12v battery though

  8. XR was $99 at Lowe's recently…bare tool. HD will match ๐Ÿ‘. Great comparison ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ‘

  9. An interesting comparison would be the Dewalt 12v Extreme vs the Skil 12v. The biggest problem I have with the Extreme line is lack of tools and their drills are only 3/8โ€ . However, they do have the advantage of a dual 12/20 charger.

  10. For some reason I have wanted the Atomic for sometime but never pulled the trigger. Now I don't regret that decision.

  11. Hey Jim great video and lovin the creative intro as always

  12. For the average homeowner, that's pretty close in speed. I doubt I'd ever notice a difference.

The only downside to a 12v system is the typical DIY homeowner who only wants one set of tools then has to carry a second set of 20v batteries if they want to expand their tools and buy something like a sander or jig saw. I think the only non impact/drill 12V tool DeWalt offers is the mini recip saw.

  13. The craftsman ccmcf820 is a impact driver the cost of it is 169 dollars

  14. The Atomic Drill & Impact are not worth buying. I do like the other tools. I use the 4 1/2 Circ saw often and the Recip is nice.

  15. I've got the 12v xtreme and they are great for the size. The drill beats the m12 fuel and the impact keeps up with the m12 fuel. And the dewalt is a good chunk cheaper

  16. I also got a free 5.0 ah battery with the 12v xtreme. Wwaayyy better deal. And they both use the same charger

  17. 1.3Ah? Couldn't even muster close enough to the 1.5Ah for marketing? "1.5AH MAXX!"

  18. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  19. Yo Clint he's wearing your shirt๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Ž

  20. VERY NICELY DONE SIR !!! A FEW YEAR'S AGO I WON A ATOMIC SET FROM COPTOOL. I'M A DIYer ON A FIXED INCOME SO I CAN'T BUY EXTRA TOOLS TO COMPARE. I DID HAVE A RYOBI ALREADY THAT I BOUGHT FOR MYSELF THE CHRISTMAS BEFORE THE 5 TOOL KIT. A BIG DIFFERENCE IN POWER. IN REALITY IT MAKES VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN MY CASE. I'M DOING HOME REPAIRS AND SMALL PROJECTS AND NOT CONCERNED IF A TOOL SAVES ME A FEW SECONDS. I LIKED THE COMPARISON BUT LET THE GEEKS READ THE STATS ON THE BOX !!! YOU KNOW THEY'RE GOING TO ANYWAY !!! LOL I WANT TO SEE THE ACTION. LOVE YOU TO COMPARE THE XR AND XTR FROM KOBALT. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR THOUGHTS AND VIDEOS RODNEY

  21. I love my Atomic set I got from Lowe's for $129. Can't beat it for the price per performance. Good vid!

  22. I have the 12 v xtreme and the m18 fuel impact. I find myself going to the dewalt 90% of the time. Its just a pleasure to use, hangs great on a tool belt super light weight amd awesome for overhead projects

  23. I had the Atomic impact & drill combo and ended up giving it to my brother in law. The tools aren't horrible but I wanted more out of them.

  24. Hey you're T shirt! its reelnasslike!

  25. 12V is under rated. I have them and can attest, they pack a powerful punch for such a small package.

  26. The atomic is such a disappointment. Thing is huge and has no power to make up for it.

  27. Great video..keep up the good workโ€ฆnot too shabby and real naaasss likeโ€ฆ God bless you & your family too..๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  28. Hey yo Jim! โ€œ real Nass likeโ€ shirt there! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Ima ask Clint to give you a shout out in one of his videos! Excellent video Jim. And I think I kinda liked the intro?? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜โœŒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  29. Great video and great shirt. Itโ€™s moist!

  30. The DeWalt 12 v extreme is real nass like!

  31. KellenCno.8 or Just KC don't butcher it please lol says:

that shirts real nass like lol but im suprised he offered one with any sort of sleeve

  32. The reason for the atomic is because Home Depot was having a hissy fit because Lowe's had the extreme line and Home Depot wanted their own so SBD through something together real quick, that said there is nothing wrong with the atomic drill and impact but battery sucks ass put a 3amp compact on the atomic and it wouldn't even be close

  33. Thank you so much for this video ู…ุชุดฺฉุฑู…

  34. I do like that makita made sub compact tools on 18v platform and others started making the same, it really makes a lot of sense, that you can have smaller and lighter tools like 12v but without any other batteries still 18v, it's awesome,

  35. My first cordless drill and impact set was the brushed dewalt 12v. I got it before 18v or just as 18v came out. I was working at a bmw dealership where everyone had makita. They were all saying why did you get dewalt thats home owner brand. Then when they picked them up and tested them they were very impressed, especially with how comfortable they were because of the ergonomics in the handle, everything else out at the time was pretty much all just straight bulky handles. I used it for a few years before i got into 18v brushless ridgid. A week or so ago i needed to get into a smaller space so picked up the dewalt set. I was making floating shelves with threaded rod into studs, then drilled through stair treads. I ended up using the 12v dewalt set for most of the project because it was so much smaller, lighter, and plenty of power. Couldnt believe the batteries were all still charged and worked after not being used for years. Awesome little set. Was shocked at the power it has for an old brushed 12v set. The dcf815 impact and dcd710 drill.

  36. Nice review! I have both and use both , as long as you use the right tool for the right job they both do well. I like them for there compactness . They havent let me down yet .

  37. Iโ€™m here because of Tools With SoAlz. Love his channel and seen your interview with him. My 1/4 hex impact 12 is on the way

  38. Everyone going bigger when I'm going smaller with 12 v xtreme tools and getting same job done without my arm feeling like jello at the end of the day.

  39. Tip: The 12v batteries (10.8) are handy to have around for other uses. I used mine last week to run my 12v air mattress pump to inflate my mattress in my tent. You can use them to test light bulbs, to keep settings on radio and prevent computer from resetting in car when you pull the battery. Etc, etc ..
Just dont short them out, or drain them dead.

  40. extremeatomic: 32v. of underwhelming power.

  41. Makes me wonder why they don't just resort to using 14500s if they want a subcompact 18v battery when 12v tools only need 3 cells in contrast

  42. I really thought the 12V extreme was going to be stronger than the results. Almost sure it would outperform the 20V atomic but I guess I was very wrong. Many of the atomic tools donโ€™t seem underpowered, Iโ€™d like to see Dewalt redeem themselves with the new atomics that just released. Even though Iโ€™ll be on the look out for new & improved XRs ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  43. That atomic looks the same size as many full force impacts available from competitors. Would not consider that compact whatsoever

  44. You took a lot longer at handling with the 12 volt my dude
