  1. I am considering remving alkaline batteries and replacing with proper 3v lithiums which maybe rechargeable. too many devices damaged by alkalines and they are expensive in so many ways. Replaced aaa 3x alkalines from headband flashlight. Very happy with that change. Ditto with a transistor radio that used 2xAA for 3v.
