In this video, we explore the latest innovation in the world of batteries: the Nuclear Diamond Battery (NDB). It is a beta voltaic device that uses beta decay to generate beta radiation, which is then converted into electrical energy. The most incredible aspect of this battery is its lifespan, which is up to thousands of years, making it a potential game-changer for both Earth and space exploration. We discuss how NDBs work, their advantages, and limitations, including the hazardous byproducts they produce. We also compare their lifespan with conventional batteries, which is up to 90 years as a car battery and nine years as a consumer electronics battery. We also explore the manufacturing process of NDBs, which involves using C14 methane and hydrogen plasma to create diamond sheets at high temperatures. Finally, we speculate on the possibility of Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, using NDBs in the future. 1. At last! Musk is working on a project that will leave the entire planet polluted with more of his waste products. We need GREEN TECHNOLOGY, NOT THIS POLLUTING SHIT FROM MUSK!

  2. The power density is small but the energy is huge so when upscaled the power generated has to be used or the old process of runaway and destruction comes into play.

  3. Relatively interesting video FINALLY ruined by ending up REVEALING that IT IS FSCKING CLICKBAIT AND Elon Musk has absolutely NOTHING to do with those things.

  4. Wouldn't these batteries essentially turn every car using them into potential dirty bombs?

  5. Nobody will allow it. Accidents as you know happen. Should this leak then… And that's not even the issue. You can't have access to nuclear in public. Can only be an external guarded battery. Elon will be known for a man who has a big mouth soon. Or isn't he already!? Elon Musk reminds me of a poor guy who told a very rich guy "if I had your wealth I'd save the world", the rich guy then gives the poor guy his wealth to prove him wrong that you can change a world with money. At least it's how Elon Musk is behaving. He just doesn't look the guy who rised from nothing. But that's just my opinion. And I'm not always right.

  6. Right now I'm 76 I doubt that I will be alive when this technology will be running cars!!!

  7. when a battery pack fails. the EV burns down to the ground! when a nuclear battery fails a whole city melts down to the ground

  8. A small ball of Plutonium 238, which is a massive alpha emitter, glows with the heat it generates. It's about time everybody learns that you don't go cutting into small unknown metal containers.

  9. Poor people are getting tired of Mr. Musk's catering to only the entitled few. Especially while there is a war on the middle class.I guess the future is only for the self glorifiers.

  10. Stop the video at 3:36 minutes and look at the book. The pic changes suddenly from a pic of a battery to a pic of a man and a pic of his balls

  11. At only $4,000,000/W, who is stupid enough to buy one. Used in a phone, it would probably weigh more than 50 pounds and be much smaller than a refrigerator.

  12. The main disadvantage of nuclear diamond batteries is very low power density. In other words, they are very large and very heavy for a given power output. This makes nuclear diamond batteries absolutely unsuitable for any mobile application. They might make sense for stationary applications in locations which are difficult to access and cannot use solar or wind. For example, islands between 65 and 70 degrees (north or south) latitude don’t get much wind and in the winter don’t get significant sunlight. That use case is so limited that it’s unlikely to justify development costs.

  13. I FEEL THESE BATTERIES ARE NOT SAFE FOR USE,,,,,, AS IT CONTAINS RADIO ACTIVE MATERIALS & IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG, IT WILL LEAD TO THE SPREAD OF RADIATION & BIG LIFE LOSES TILL WE CONTROL IT ….BETTER BUILDING WITH OTHER NORMAL MATERIALS AVAILABLE……. NOT SAFE FOR HUMANS & ANIMALS

  14. DISPOSAL IS ALSO BIG TASK …..A PERSON WHO DOES TECHNICALLY KNOW THE INNER DETAILS OF IT MAY MISHANDLE IT WHILE USING IT OR AFTER DISPOSAL(BY SCRAP MERCHANTS) , SO BETTER TO AVOID IT, AS ITS NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

  15. Ionizing radiation is not too good for hunans ; certain isotopes are calcium serkers – Read up on thw RTGs russia left laying about when things turned in thw 1990s. No , we don't need this .

  16. musk is the biggest conman ever. Too sad to see how millions and millions trust that bast ard

  17. So take a scenario in the future on a motorway where a mass pile up occurs with many vehicles with these batteries inside them !☢

  18. Why don't your learn how to say Beta NOT BETER !!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. If a safe nuclear battery can be created that would last a lifetime it would be a tremendous benefit to the human race!

  20. Check your subject line and stop wasting my time

  21. Up hear in. Canada. Bc part store charging 150 % mark up 😢

  22. What is "beeta," you mean "beta" as in "beta radiation?"

  23. What about using multiple batteries to use
instead of trying to make a bigger battery
    Just try using multiple batteries

  24. That’s what I’m talking about decades ago, that we could power a home with just a sardines can size of nuclear…

  25. Elon.musk is not doing what this video states. More scamm. YouTube is becoming a home of scams.

  26. If it becomes possible in the future it would definitely solve all the problems facing the 0 co2 concern. With the technology we have today we have zero chance of running our electric grid on renewables. I hope people like musk can figure it out. I also hope our idiotic government stays the hell away from it.

  27. Hey Elon, fail. There is this thing called the Eather, it’s free, and you don’t even have to plug into it! Nikola Tesla is way smarter than you. Keep making junk, Mr Skynet, Brain chipper!

  28. But milli-amp and milli-volt making of micro-watt…or milli-watt (?!?)

  29. Just where at in this video did Elon Musk reveal his nuclear battery for 2023?

  30. You think this insane moron is to be trusted with virtually unlimited power?

  31. Elon what you are doing is killing the planet at 50% by Doing some Thing Who cares mane Your employes

  32. 👍🏿👍👍🏾👍🏽👍🏼👍🏻👍🏿👍👍🏾👍🏽👍🏼👍🏻

  33. These batteries could be revolutionary! I have heard about them a few years ago and glad to see more progress and big names in industry paying attention to them. The possibilities are endless and since they are essentially made with garbage they solve two problem with one solution. I think they are best used as a supplemental power source for charging traditional battery packs on a 24/7 basis, the end result a electric car user would still have to charge the car but would have a infinite source of free energy possibly even at home. Imagine getting home from work and plugging your car into your nuclear diamond battery to charge which also powers your entire house and double AA batteries by charging traditional battery pack on a 24/7 basis along with some supplemental solar panels to help boost the power. Never have to pay a electric bill ever again.

  34. Nuclear diamond batteries sound like a great idea, but when will they become available, and what will they cost?

  35. Many have suggested nuclear energy since I was a kid …. I’m 65 now so nothing new yet here ….?

  40. Could it run a mobility scooter or powerchair
