In this video, we take a deep dive into the world of sodium batteries and explore how a new Chinese sodium battery is set to change the game in 2023.

Unlike traditional lithium-ion batteries, sodium batteries have a number of advantages that make them more efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable. In this video, we’ll examine how this new Chinese sodium battery technology works and why it could be a game-changer for the EV industry.

We’ll also explore the potential benefits of sodium batteries, including faster charging times, longer lifespan, and reduced environmental impact. Additionally, we’ll discuss the potential drawbacks and challenges that may come with this new technology.

  1. Palki sharma voice in the video gr8 achievement for her ❤

  2. China will probably end up buying the soda ash deposits/land from the US.

  3. climate change doesn't exist, C02 is the gas of life. More C02 = Bigger crops.

  4. 🤣😆As if lithium wasn't volatile enough, now they're trying sodium which is explosive given the right conditions (moisture). Lol Try again.

  5. There's magnesium batteries as well. Hydrogen-nickel batteries that are even easier to produce at a huge scale. But nothing can have the energy density Lithium offers, period.

  6. Where can I go see the climate crisis? It's nowhere to be found.

  7. Since sodium and lithium are so similar, how did they miss this?

  8. VW is screwed. They have thousands of unsold lithium cars and dealerships are not ordering them.

  9. Does not matter, it's still from china. Shit will break down @ any sec.

  10. LMMFAO Why do people keep believing this defunct B.S.?

  11. BYD new models already switched to sodium battery, which is cheaper and performs better in cold.

  12. China will be the next super state in technology industry and might render others by a half century!

  13. Nickel Hydrogen batteries is the superior option.
Not only they have the capacity to match or surpass the capacity of Lithium, but they also last for 30 year and they don't have the ability to spontaneously combust.

  14. WHy didnt anyonne think this before.. where Were all the the Chemistry PHDS>>

  15. gives a reason for desalination as well meaning a reason to actually acquire drinking water

  16. Everybody is conveniently ignoring the real problem. Can the Grid cope with demand. Current GRID cannot. Sustainable Energy is not enough. Nuclear reactor is the only solution if every country wants to go EV.

  17. So they lose 10% capacity after only 300 charging cycles, Lithium does better than that.

  18. Forty $ per kWh 😳🤯. That’s half the supposed parity price with fossil burners.

  19. Sodium Ion batteries have a lower energy density and faster electrode degradation than lithium ion batteries.

Let's not dump lithium for sodium until the big sodium kinks have been resolved.

  20. 比亚迪也可以试试开发钾电池,或许有些性能会更优于钠电池

  21. But Chinese ev always blown up and burn everything 😅

  22. This is more CCP lies and propaganda. None of this is true – don't believe a lick of it. China's communist party steals technology it doesn't innovate. It's rife with rampant corruption that keeps it from being competitive which is why they steal everything. They have a huge campaign to make it look like it's innovating – none of it is true.

  23. You must be one of the mouthpieces of ccp for lying to the whole world. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  24. Forget the cordless EV's! There will be NOT ENOUGH lithium in the world to energize a 1% of the vehicles in the traffic today. Only way to get EV energized is to include the contacts on the road.

  25. No more because…… you dug it all up and no more countries to invade to dig up more.

  26. At 7:16, you show a desert landscape that is purportedly in Wyoming. There are Joshua Trees clearly visible. But I do not believe there are any Joshua Trees in Wyoming.

  27. Still nothing is happening.,china is waiting for Filipino to develope this kind of battery.,

  28. In my google news feed, almost everyday I used to see more n more new battery technology. But never ever see them in tbe market.😅😅😅

  29. Stop the nonsense with the climate bull crap. How can carbon dioxide destroy the earth??? Stop the Vatican pushed insanity.

  30. I prefer the self running generators, advanced bedini technology. Examples of similar technology, seen on YouTube, Nissan iv concept car LA 2010. Energy is generated in the wheels. No need to attach to the grid or limit mileage.

  31. We don’t have the power stations to charge them and the globalists that want net zero to happen ARE NOT BUILDING / PLANING THE POWER STATIONS TO DO THIS …..this alone proves GLOBALISTS have a different agenda ….THE WHOLE NET ZERO BULL SHIP IS DESIGNED TO CONTROL THE ELECTORATE…….GLOBALISM IS THE ELECTORATES ENEMY …..THE WEF. ARE IN CHINA GETTING THEIR ORDERS …GLOBALISM IS A FORM OF BASTARDISED COMMUNISM

  32. Given China's significant head start in this technology plus our (USA) low production of STEM graduates in combination with stealth efforts of the fossil fuel industry to inhibit/stifle much renewable energy technology I see us falling further and further behind the rest of the world in battery technology. We need to be doing more of our own R&D on multiple forms of energy storage to haven even a prayer of catching up. I really wish it were otherwise but our "leaders" seem to be just fine with ceding technical leadership to the rest of the world.

  33. It's almost the end of 2023 yet no news of any sodium batteries that will change the ev market

  34. I realise from my days in school Potasium and Sodium are very volatile compounds especially when water and air is involved. Guess what Lithium also is very volatile guess thats why they burn spectacularly.

  35. Why make ev at all. Make hydrogen fueled cars. And use green hydrogen

  36. China provides Us affordable things while American things are for elite class

  37. Chinese are the world heroes no wars just development
