  1. Makita XDT21…battery is a little in the back…👍👍👍

  2. Hah! You say it's a tough question. Not for me. I own the 998 and I do not own the Flex. So I have already been asked and answered…haha.I paused at 1:54 to respond here, so as of now I have no idea what you are going to say is the "one thing" that one drill has. But I am guessing yours will be the same as mine: "history." I have been on the DeWey platform for 20 years. That is two decades they have spent NEVER letting me down. I have yet to kill one. I end up upgrading, and giving the one replaced to a friend, still working perfectly. Is Flex going to do that? I do not know. You do not know. Nobody can possibly know, because they just got here. They look like good tools, but they could all crap out after a year. Or not…but that is the still unknown about them. And not fer nuthin' but I run that 998 with the 8Ah and it is an absolute beast!-Lifetime warranty. All well and good, but how long are you without your tool while you wait for them to make good on that? What you need are tools that aren't going to break in the first place. You told us you can't break your Flex tools…about a minute after going to the door to see if your replacement had arrived…for your broken Flex tool. End of the day, you have to buy what you believe in. But my opinion on that goes in the other direction, that's all.

  3. @toolsandtactics One thing nobody talks about is the clutch settings on the Flex is way better. Put the setting on 1 with dewalt 998 and see what dewalt does with your screw, it will still countersink. Also 998 is a much larger drill even though its slightly lighter. And 3rd the feeling of the dewalt is way cheaper then the flex. To me the only thing dewalt did better was the lights. Im not a flex fanboy now but I just got my 3.5 & 6.0 stacked lithium batteries🤯

  4. Once that lifetime limited warranty is up they aint gonna sell shit

  5. Metabo HPT HAS HAD a lifetime warranty on all their battery powered tools for awhile now. no year-end registration necessary. 🙂💚 Go Green.

  6. @toolsandtactics appreciate u answering my questions👊🏼

  7. One more question @toolsandtactics , I know the new stacked batteries are going to be the shiznit, but my question is do u know if these currwnt flex batterries use 21700 or 18650 cells?

  8. Hey bro cool video ! I told you that the Power Detect 998 was bad ass!!

  9. If I had to buy just one? Not even a question for me. I would go with … Ridgid!

  10. I have that oscillating tool and I can't wait for your review, I hope you do an in dept break down.

  11. I would have said go with Dewalt up until a couple weeks ago. Had that new atomic impact wrench die on its first use, it took a week to get somebody to have it sent in for repair, and then two weeks later when I call to see how much longer it’s going to take… they lost it 😩🙄😳. They kept transferring me around to different repair centers, and all of them said it showed at the first repair center. When I called them back… they don’t have anything still. I’d never buy another dewalt tool after this and have most of what I bought around holiday time, is posted online for sale. Never had this issue with Milwaukee or Metabo hpt. I’ll just stick with those
